As with any change in my system, I'm systematically running through my demo disks. This is a great track from a great album. The Tritons are set with the bass gain knob at 12:00 and sounding great! The bass, finger snaps and vocals are a great combination.

Played a new SACD of Led Zeppelin songs as sung by Vanessa Fernandez from Groove Note entitled "When the Levee Breaks". I wish Zeppelin recordings were this good, as I did enjoy the high-rez recordings as played through the GETs.

Not a music posting.. sorry.

Rain in TX has been anything but normal. We live in the part of TX that is considered "semi arid". Long dry spells are the rule. Well, it;s been anything but that for the last month. Thunderstorm after thunderstorm has rolled through, sometimes dumping as much as 6-20" of rain in a short period.

My wife just told me that 3 soldiers from Fort Hood, just north of here, drowned in a water flooding related accident, and 6 more are missing. Wow. Puts thing in perspective.
