Spring has sprung, and I am working closely with the Japanese Gardens to capture the best of it. They picked me as one of three photographers for special sessions outside of normal visiting hours and I get to actually walk off the path and get to special locations that are normally out of bounds for most visitors.

Congrats, Roman! The Portland Japanese Garden is a beautiful place. It would be great to have the chance to photograph it outside of their normal hours with no people cluttering up your photos. That's quite an honor to be selected. Portland is a big city and I'm sure there are a lot of other professional photographers to compete against.

You've posted other pics from there previously, correct? I think I recall a pretty amazing picture of a Japanese Maple. Anyways, let us know when you've posted the pics on your website.
