Wayne:
I guess all my dancing around and lifting heavy weights has its advantages.
Glad you're OK. A change of lifestyle can be a good thing...exercise wise.
Personally, I hate cardio. I would rather spend 1-2 hours lifting heavy weights, 5-6 days a week than do cardio...my hats off to you. Stick with it.
After everything is said and done (bill wise)...any idea what your out of pocket cost will be?
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Wayne,

Rabbit food and cardio, combined with following your doctors' prescribed medications are the keys to successful cardiac rehab. $10,000 is definitely not bad in terms of cost. Our healthcare system in the U.S. Is long overdue for a major overhaul. At this point, it's a financial market who's bubble is getting a bit too big. I'm glad you were able to get the blockage resolved with minimal surgery. The recovery time should be minimal.

The last key to success will be taking it easy! Hopefully they told you to slow down. That should mean more time for movies and music: or just to smell the roses. I have a treadmill in my theater so I can multitask. You may want to consider a recumbent bike or elliptical machine in yours as well. Anthem, look at cardio as weight training for your heart!

Anyways, I'm glad things worked out and that your in the express lane to a successful recovery. It's great to have you back on the forum as well. God speed!

Cheers,

T Cobe

The second level 3 power cord from AntiCables has arrived and is gently being warmed up with light home theater use on my Oppo. I've also ordered a Nordost Blue Heaven balanced audio cable to start out my HT interconnect upgrade. The conjunction of audio interconnect and power cable upgrades definitely provides a synergistic effect. I anticipate that my dialogue will sound better than ever.

After a few more XLR cables, it will be time to consider my next equipment upgrade. I'm considering a SCXXL or a SSXXL. With potential GET new product announcements just a few months away, I'm a bit leery to make an investment. It may be better to save up until after the holidays to see what the GET team is cooking up...

Cheers,

T Cobe

Great progress report and pic's, Wayne!

Is that your hospital "suite"? Amazingly spacious!

And I love the patio, with the tropical plants in the background, where you're doing your exercises. Where is that? It's gorgeous.

Keep it up my friend. You're too important to so many... family, church family, GEt family... We all love you, I'm sure.

Keep in touch as you can. We love to see your posts!

Thanks Rick,
That was my private room at the horsepistol. It is big and well appointed because in Thailand the family, at least the wife, stays in the room with you, sleeps there. ALWAYS. And you get LOTS of visitors.
The pics of me exercising, UGGGH, were taken at my car port, that is our front yard you see. The side of the house is way more beautiful with a big Koi pond and the plants around it are like a forest now after all the rain we have been enjoying.
Come visit.
I do seem to have more time these days to visit you guys on the site, can't do much with the ministry now.
God Bless,
Wayne
