Thanks Anthem,
Did both you guys put these cables together yourselves? I can solder, but these kinds of things are small and fiddly and my fingers don't cooperate. But I can get cables made here fairly cheaply and very well done, I just have to drive 10+ hours to get to the big city.
That is why I usually get my cables from the States, done for me.
Anyway, I am rambling, thanks for the info.
God Bless,
Wayne

Anthem,

GREAT info! That wire seems like a relative bargain. I'm definitely going to give this a try. Is the coaxial cable for your RCAs silver coated as well? Any idea which wire that is? Can't tell on website. Thank you.

Cheers,

T Cobe

Thanks, Anthem. How would you compare the sound of the home made cables to your AudioQuest Columbias?

The Audio quest Columbia / Jaguars are in my home theater. They are XLR, used on (2)Emotiva xpa -1 amps. The Homemade RCA interconnect is used exclusively on the Torii and Primaluna for 2-channel listening. The only other cable I've used with the Torii is the Decware DSG interconnect...I prefer the Homemade.

With that being said, I can't compare the Audio quest to homemade. If I was to compare, I'll bet I'd prefer the Homemade.

Last edit: 9 years 6 months ago by Dilettante. Reason: Sounded like I was selling something - I'm not. Secondly I really don't have permission from the club to talk about the cables they share with club members. Thanks for removing! Carl info_outline
