Hi, curious is the Emotiva xpa-3 gen3 is a good match for Triton 5 and Aupercenter Reference. It seems rated a little higher watts then the speaker . I'm using a Yamaha rx8

Hi Supered17, The Emotiva XPA-3 Gen 3 amplifier is a high quality, high power amplifier that should be a nice upgrade over the amplifier in your Yamaha RX8 receiver. This amplifier should also match well with the Triton 5s and the SuperCenter Center Reference. Happy Listening!

Here's another question
With the new Yamaha Rx8A and the Emotiva I have never run YPao on the unit to apply room correction ect. I have the setting as through which doesn't change the values of the speakers . Would YpAO make the speakers sound better

Hi Supered17, Given a choice, I would recommend running the auto-calibration (YPao) in your Yamaha receiver. Granted, this is an auto-calibration system, but there's a good chance this will improve the sound of your system - and compensate (to some degree) how the speakers and your listening room interact with each other. It's certainly worth a try. Happy Listening!
