Hi, curious is the Emotiva xpa-3 gen3 is a good match for Triton 5 and Aupercenter Reference. It seems rated a little higher watts then the speaker . I'm using a Yamaha rx8

Here's another question
With the new Yamaha Rx8A and the Emotiva I have never run YPao on the unit to apply room correction ect. I have the setting as through which doesn't change the values of the speakers . Would YpAO make the speakers sound better

Hi Supered17, Given a choice, I would recommend running the auto-calibration (YPao) in your Yamaha receiver. Granted, this is an auto-calibration system, but there's a good chance this will improve the sound of your system - and compensate (to some degree) how the speakers and your listening room interact with each other.
