Looks fantastic and I'll bet it sounds amazing. Some questions:

* What are you using for your acoustic panels? I'm in need of some for my setup and haven't gotten around to doing much research. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

* SS3s for surrounds w A3's as rear surrounds: In my experience the surrounds get much more content than the rears, especially music in movies. Have you considered swapping these? I'd think the A3's have more bottom (I have SS50s and A2's, and the A2's are better IMHO, so I'm extrapolating the SS3's vs A3's)
Living Room:
Triton 1 - R,L
SuperCenter XL - Center
Triton 2 - Surrounds
SuperSat 50 - Rear surrounds
Emotiva XMC-1 pre/pro
Emotiva XPA-1 G2 monoblocks, R/L/C,
Emotiva XPA-1L monoblocks: surrounds, rears

Home Office Office:
Triton 7 - R,L
Emotiva XPA1-L, Stealth DC-1 DAC

Hi bradorner,
I am using panels from Acoustimac. The wall panels are 2" thick 2' X 4'. They refer to the panel as a 422. The insulation is Eco Core. The bass traps are from the same company in a 424 (4" thick) corner mounted panel.

I agree that the A3's would be better as the surrounds. Unfortunately, with the dimensions of my room and a 7' wide couch, I don't have the room to position the A3's on the sides.

Hi T Cobe,
Here are a few more pictures. Sorry they are a bit grainy. I took them with my IPhone in low light. The room corrections is Audyssey on my Integra 30.4 receiver.

Mike,

Thank you very much for sharing more pics. Much more impressive now that we've seen it all! Great space!

How would you describe the results of the acoustic treatments? Sound before and after? Customer service? Would you do it all over again the same way? Thank you very much.

Cheers,

T Cobe

T Cobe,
The results of the acoustic treatments was nothing short of amazing. Previous to installing the acoustic panels the room had a lot of echo and both bass and vocals were muddy and unclear. Now that the panels are in the room is very quiet with very little echo. The bass is much tighter and the vocals are clear and directionally well defined. I ordered the panels online and they came as advertised. Very well made with no damage. Delivery was also very timely. The panels were very easy to install using a screwdriver and level. I would recommend these panels or other similar panels to anyone.

Mike
