Hey mikeemotivafirst...looks like your thread, "xpa vx xpa3 vx upa200" on the Emotiva website is doing quite well...I think those guys can answer all your questions. Is the UPA200 yours or a friends?

WOW, that looks like a tough room for audio.
Sometimes that cannot be helped. Move the speakers if you can, but if not, I think you owe it to yourself to listen to the Triton 2s.
Or the Ones, OK, maybe that is me dreaming.

GEDuck, speakers need side walls to produce significant room bass. In your room you are going to need a significant boost in the room boundary region frequencies to get adequate bass. You can do this with Triton Twos by turning up the level control on the back, no way to do that on the Triton Sevens besides add an outboard sub to fill in the lost boundary gain.
