Have you considered a standalone sub, as Wayne suggested, for the bottom-end? No doubt the T2's would solve this problem, I've NEVER felt a lack of bass with mine.

Yes, the Twos will give you what you need for FULL orchestra and bass. Highly recommended, even over the wondferful T7s.

I currently have a sub set up with the Triton's - and it sounds great with HT, but for music, it's not the best.

I may incur the wrath of my wife but I think I'm going to demo the two's in home and see what I think. Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to afford a more luxurious amp but hopefully the more efficient two's will be sufficient for the time being.

I love the 7's but I'm just missing that omph!

By the way, I took a photo of my room to see if anyone had a suggestion - I'm wondering if my room is too big or just too awkwardly shaped for the 7's (hence the need for the 2's). FYI - speakers are 11 feet apart, horizontal walls are 20 feet. Room goes back another 30 feet. There's a wall on the right side but on the left where the left speaker is a hallway that leads into a stairwell! Yes, not ideal I know but it's what I have

What is the distance from your listening position to the 7's?

11 feet. Essentially tried to make a perfect triangle.

I wonder if this would help your bottom end (although, not wife friendly)...all kidding aside, maybe you are a Triton 2 candidate after all... take your own material and go listen, if you can.
