Thanks Brumtech, I just signed up for the Audio Advisor emails. I will watch it very close. You also mentioned that the BHK-300, gets pretty warm. Have you seen or heard these amps? If so please let me know your thoughts. The problem I have for all of this equipment , I have to drive 5 hours each way for my closest dealer. So I always have to rely on reviews, when I make my decision on stereo equipment. Thanks again for all the help. Audiophileman.

Thanks Wayne, I agree if its good for 2 channel it should be good for home theater. My main objective has always been 2 channel listening first. No, I have never seen or heard the BHK300's. I frequent the PS Audio forum and have read about them there. It was a question brought up several times when they premiered. I would guess they don't get nearly as hot as the JC1"s.
Here's a quote from BHK, "The heat sinks get quite warm but not hot – I know that is not a formal quantification in heat units. Naturally on a hot summer day when the inside temp of the house is hot, the heat sinks will now start to feel pretty hot to the touch."

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean about having to rely on reviews. I assembled my system from scratch and was never really in a position to evaluate even if I'd found a dealer nice enough to loan the various brands I was pondering. And, of course, the internet can be a double edged sword as far as gathering opinions on hifi gear. Ultimately I felt I was making safe bets, and I had to start somewhere. Glad to help anytime.
