Hi all, not to change the subject but I can see from Steveo's pic the wire he has been using. I think he will hear a big difference once he gets the new wire going:)

None of my GET speakers have come with plugs?? Perhaps is an international shipping regulation of some kind???

Cant wait to hear how the new cable works!!!

What gauge was your older wire and what gauge is your new wire. I am curious to know how big of a difference you really hear (all else remaining equal).

P.s. My Emotiva XRCA jacks are coming today so I can report back how much of change they make to my L/C/R channels (from receiver to amp.

P.P.S. Got the SS3's (updated my signature ). So far so good but I just watched the All Star game with it. Need to run audessy still and try out some music. The DVD-Audio version of the Metallica Black album puts out some insane base on the T1's and its so freakin' tight!!!!!!!!

Steveo, dig your fingernails or the edge of a knife in there and pop those bad boys out. Yes, they are sometimes pretty tight but you will not hurt anything!!!
Once you get it started a little bit, it will come. They keep the inside clean! ha ha
DT, your thoughts and mine are running exactly the same, Steveo is gonna be thrilled with better sound!!!!

Yeah, that old wire was looking pretty ratty when we saw it in previous posts. That was my first concern and recommendation. It certainly should offer some improvement. I still suspect room acoustics as well. I'll hope for the best.

The plugs are only applied to the 240V product - they're required to meet CE approvals.
