Just so you guys know I tried it on my old 60c and it worked perfectly. I unscrewed the binding posts and there was no cover like on the triton ones and I assume the ss3s as it wasn't fitting in there either.

The thing is these red and black plastic tops are very tight and I don't think they will come out easily. Any ideas?

Haha no TCobe. I was trying that and wasn't budging. As I said it fit perfectly on the 60c as it didn't have this barrier. I have been looking and it is common for relievers and speakers to have this but I don't know why the manufacturer even makes them in the first place?

Sorry, Steveo, couldn't resist. Like Aribraun says, try tweezers. You could also use needle nose pliers or a utility knife. I'd wedge a blade between the plastic and the post and pop it off. It's also possible you may need to twist it... My T1s didn't have anything in the posts. Odd that yours came that way.

I will have to try tweezers.

Moderator just a question is there any reason why some t1s have come like mine and others don't have these plastic barriers?
