Thanks for the feedback, the Bryston 4B SST2 seems to be the way to go as they seem very reliable and come initially with a 20 year warranty. The biggest challenge is to find a good used one that is a reasonable price, as even used they are demanding 2 to 3 times the price of the aforementioned NAD or Marantz amps new.

I've also considered the NAD Master series M22 and Anthem A2 or P2 amplifiers as they also have a very good reputation in the industry, but prices on all of them new are more expensive than the used Bryston and none have the extended warranty.

Thanks for the referral to the REVERB site, the Bryston 4B SST2 looks pretty sweet. Will need to contact the seller to see what the final price with shipping would be.

The amp is pretty heavy so by the time it gets shipped it might be pretty expensive for a used amp. But as I am sure you already know, you get what you pay for.

Have you considered emotiva? An XPA-2 gen3 puts out 300wpc and costs $999 for 2 channels (and can be upgraded up to seven channels).

Thanks for your recommendation of the Emotiva XPA-2 gen3. The reviews and online information make it seem to be a very viable option. Unfortunately, there are no dealers in my near vicinity and it appears the nearest custom installer is about an 8 hour drive away.

Without hearing the amplifier it would be difficult to decide if the amp would be a good match for the Triton T3s. Maybe I can contact our local Golden Ear dealer to contact Emotiva to obtain a XPA-2 gen3 as a dealer demo in their showroom. Who knows, the contact might be a match that could lead to increased sales all around....
