Hello,
I'm Weerapat from Thailand.
Sorry for my poor English in advance.
I just bought a pair of Triton 2 last week.
When I first turn it on with subwoofer plugged, after 3-4 minutes of playing, there was a screaming (like) sound from the speakers.
I captured a video of with and without subwoofer plugged at this link

I have consulted my dealer, SiS Distribution (Thailand) Co. Ltd., they don't know much about this problem but at least they are willing to help.
Is this a known problem to you guys?

Sawatdee krap Khun Weerapat!!!!!
Welcome to our forum and to GoldenEar Tritons, they are wonderful speakers.
No, your problem is not normal, that sounded BAD!!!!!
I am in Mae Sai, Thailand and I have Triton Twos, and I did have some problem with bad, bass noises, terrible noises, but it was from a bad amp that was connected.
Do you have a LFE cable connected to your T 2 built in sub? To that RCA jack near where the speakers are connected?
And is that LFE cable connected to an amp?
Or do you just have speaker cables connected?
Please let me know and we can try to figure out the problem and also we can talk to SIS to get their help. The distributor is the BEST and VERY helpful.
So sorry you are having a problem, and I hope we can get it fixed fast for you!!!!
Chok dee na krap.
God Bless,
Wayne

Oh! Sawatdee krab Khun Wayne,
In the video, I just have speaker cables connected krab.
But I also tried connect LFE from my Denon AVR, the result was the same krab.
The dealer will come and pick them up on Monday.
I really hope they can get them fixed.

Hi Weerapat and welcome to the forum. Sorry to read (and hear by virtue of the video) of your problem. Wayne may be correct that this is an amplifier and/or electrical problem. I think it highly unusual you would experience a problem with both Triton speakers at the same time. But it's great that your dealer is helpful in this regard. Am I correct that when you are referring to "subwoofer plugged" you are speaking of yet another third external speaker and not the two Triton's shown in the video? Until your dealer picks up the Tritons you may want to do some further troubleshooting to isolate the issue. It may not be the Tritons that need fixing. Best of luck. :)

Hi GDHAL,
By the "subwoofer plugged" I mean power cable of the Triton 2's internal subwoofer is plugged/connected. I have isolated speaker cables, interconnect cables and power cables from each other but the problem still occurred. Currently, I suspect the subwoofer's amplifier inside the Triton 2. Because the Triton 2s were working properly when I unplugged the power cables of the Triton 2's internal subwoofer amp.
