Art, no doubt your setup is very different from my 2.0 system, so it makes sense you do things differently.

Charlie,

Perhaps not so different as you might think. My Ones are driven from a 2 channel Cambridge Amplifier. I drive my Paradigm sub from the Preamp Line Output on the Cambridge. But, I can turn the Paradigm off via a separate 110 AC switch.

My Sevens and SuperSats are driven by a Cambridge 7.1 AV Amplifier.

I use the Paradigm to augment bass for low-volume listening. I use the the 7.1 setup to "fill the room with sound" without audibly noticing the Sevens and Supersats from my PLP.

So, if the Paradigm is off and I do not turn on the 7.1 Amp, I have a simple 2.0 system.
