Art,

Thanks for the attempt. You could just cut and paste the instructions into a post. I'm not sure how to do about attaching a PDF here to the forum. My plan is to be careful and take my time. The weight shouldn't be an issue for me. I'm more concerned about damaging the speaker by handling incorrectly.

Cheers,

T Cobe

Triton One Unpacking Suggestions from Art Daniels

I recommend the following unpacking steps. This is a two-person job for ease of unpacking and safety (people and speaker).

1. Lay the speaker carton flat with the “This Side Up” showing.
2. Open the cardboard outer carton to expose the rigid foam clam-shell, which is the speaker inner packing. Manual and Power Cord should be visible on top of the clam-shell.
3. Remove the Manual and Power Cord.
4. Turn the carton/unit over on its side and slide the clam-shell/speaker out of the outer carton. This action will take some tugging to get the clam-shell/speaker out of the carton.
5. Remove the two bottom rigid foam support pieces, exposing the speaker base.
6. Remove the protective wrappings from the base.
7. Tip the speaker/clam-shell upright to stand on its base.
8. Remove the tape binding the two halves of the clam-shell together.
9. Separate and remove the two halves of the clam-shell.
10. Remove any remaining protective wrappings from the speaker. Speaker is now unpacked.

Consider preserving the packaging materials in the event a return shipment is needed.

T Cobe wrote: Yeah, Rick, you have a beautiful home, a great set up, and some fantastic electronics! I only made the comment about the hard surfaces and sound as a query. I'm trying to learn more about room acoustics from any source I can. I am a complete noob.

From what I've read so far, your window covering and layout are in your favor. You may potentially be getting some added brightness with the wood floors and the back wall seems pretty open. You already have a nice area rug, so that should be helping tame any issues up front. The only other thing that I can see is speaker placement but with your layout and being in a common living space, the WAF may prohibit moving the speakers out of the corners a bit.

This is, of course, only slight nit-picking. I'm sure it sounds great as is! As with all things, it's all about compromise. Thank you very much for sharing your pics with us! You really have a beautiful name and set up! If you have any set up tips or tweak anything that works, please let me know. I'll be setting up my T1s today!

Cheers,

T Cobe
