Thanks, T Cobe. I had 2 dedicated 20 amp circuits installed. I actually could (and was) run it all on a 15 amp circuit as long as I didn't kick the Emotiva amps into Class A mode. But I felt of that really wasn't too wise for lots of reasons. My electrician wondered why I wanted two circuits, as he said one would be enough. I decided I error on the side of caution as long as he was already her,
The Emo stack has 2700/4800w into 8/4 ohms. The bigger monoblocks have led power meters and I rarely ever see the first one light up. Super clean sound. Monoblocks really made a noticable difference from using the Emotiva multichannel amps (which were very good in their own right). I started with 3 of the smaller XPA1-Ls and was hooked. I incrementally adedicated the others over time, finishing with the XPA 1 Gen 2 for R,C,L. Very very pleased with them. Great value.
The Onkyo works pretty well as a pre pro. Great video ability.Audysee mult32 room correction is very good. Not quite as good as the Anthem room correction in my Anthem MRC 700, but still quite good.
