Hey, Wayne

You are welcome here anytime! I've said before, I'd love to meet and share notes with many forum members, even get a "tour" of the great systems represented by folks on this forum. (Anthem, T Cobe and others, the same goes for you!!!)

We could crank Deep Horizons, anything else we wanted, BBQ shrimp....put back whatever fell off the shelves when the GEt's were doing their thing... :)

Happy listening!!!

Rick

Hey Bro Rick, thanks for the kind invite, I fully intend to make you regret inviting me, I mean, intend to come on of these days when I make it back to the States.
I love your comment about putting things back on the shelf... I totally understand. Probably most people outside our hobby would think we are crazy. But we are not, are we?
Maybe.
Good food too, heck yah!!!!!
God Bless,
Wayne

Nah, Wayne, we're not crazy (I think!!!). But wanting to hear the very best that any music source has to offer, heck yes!!!!

I guess I will never understand how folks can settle for what seems to me muddled, muddy representations of what was recorded, but then again I can't understand how composers from hundreds of years ago ENVISIONED, in their heads, what their multi instrument pieces would sound like. Even when going deaf, like Beethoven!!!

I just have to settle for what works for me, and what works for me is hearing it all! Every nuance, every piano pedal, every guitar pick, every soundboard. Maybe it's a crutch for not being able to hear it all in my head without hearing a note from my ears, like Beethoven towards the end. I don't care. All I care about is sharing this amazing hobby with other people who also love listening to the best!

Come any time!

Rick

Seriously, one of these days, when we have a trip planned to come back over there, I will let you guys know.
In Austin they have the world's most successful campaign going, called "Keep Austin Weird!"
I am sure we could fit right in!!!
