Kombo / The Big Blast (1999)
I got my CMX-2 & CMX-6 today. Plugged the Anthem P-2 into the CMX-6 then into the CMX-2. Headroom, headroom and more headroom. Bass definition was off the charts and the louder you play the better the Tritons sound. I suppose this could become a dangerous thing from what my ears are telling me.
Kombo is not jazz, not really sure how you would classify it. Guys, get yourself a copy and you'll get a feel of what the Triton 2's subs can achieve... you just may say, WOW!!

So the Emotiva filters made a big difference?

Mike: I don't know if they made a BIG difference, they did make an improvement especially in the bass region... nice and tight bass with wow factor dynamics. I purchased another CMX-6 a couple of months ago and it allows my amps total headroom without current limitations. The CMX-2 & CMX-6 (just got today) so need to do more listening, first impressions are extremely positive. Mike, do yourself a favour and check these out, I think you might just pick up a pair.

The last song on the Cd , "Trigger Happy" Dave does EVERYTHING - all at once. All sounds are electronically triggered live from the drum in one pass. No overdubs, no sequence, no other musicians.
