Well Bro Anthem,
We finally agree about something musically. Or sorta.
I hate the K G sound too, but not just the sonics, I would rather go to the dentist than listen to him, insipid, inane, and boring as all get out. As well as squeaky.

Now, if you want to listen to some intelligent music, and this guy can play the sax too, try out Keith Jarrett. I love the Koln concert.

Another brilliant musician that I can listen to all day, David Gilmour. He can play the guitar like nobodies' business, as well as keyboards, sax, probably can play it all.
Check out his self titled album from years ago, David Gilmour.
God Bless,
Wayne

Hey bro Wayne : thanks for the suggestions... I believe you've mentioned these two before. David Gilmour's self titled
album...about the only song I like is "cry from the street." The music still has the Pink Floyd sound, and like I said before, I never was a Pink Floyd fan.

I went to Amazon and tracked several Keith Jarrett albums...same result as before...slow and lackadaisical. If you GIVE me one of his CDs I'll listen to it, but I wouldn't buy.

I do believe that one of these days there will be a CD that both you and will agree on 100%...until that day comes, keep throwing out suggestions, they are appreciated.

Keith Jarrett "Invocations" "The Moth and the Flame" this is brilliant stuff.

Ok, I will admit, I don't know Jack about Jazz, just trying to help out a brother.

How about some ZZ Top????? Can you shake yer booty to that??????

"Still Got the Blues" a little Gary Moore work for ya?

I don't know what we are gonna agree on, but we can still be brothers.
"Brothers in Arms"?????? Dire Straits, "Walk of Life" has to be your kind of song doesn't it??????

I am trying here Bro. God Bless, Wayne

OK, for those who would like to hear some new music, try the Avett Brothers "Magpie and the Dandelion" a nice follow up on "I & Love & You".

Enjoy, God bless,

Dire Straits/Brother in Arms (1985) was a good album... "Money for Nothing" is my favorite Dire Straits song...the guitar work was simply fabulous. "Walk of Life" didn't care for it much. ZZ Top is a great band...had many of their albums back in the day.
Thanks Wayne for keeping this forum alive...keep the suggestions and commentary coming... B)

A beautiful, warm, soulful voice backed by meticulously played backing instruments.
