Dexter Gordon / Dexter Calling (1961) -- Landslide

Another new one.
All in all, a pretty decent set of tunes.
Dexter's sax is crazy glued left of center the entire cd, which can get old after awhile.
Sonically...not bad...4 1/4 star's

I just spent the afternoon listening to the GEt's in surround.... first chance I've had for extended listening since we got back.

Oh, my, I missed that gorgeous sound. I ran through a playlist of my favorites, and got re-reminded of what those songs CAN sound like.
Headphones, other speakers... OK for awhile, but I keep getting drawn back to the GEt sound.

I'll post some stuff I've listened to on the GEt's shortly.
