Bradorner,

Have you tried the ERC-3 or do you do all digital media files for music? That really is a serious stack of monoblocks! I'm really enjoying my XSP-1 and XPA-1Ls on my T1s. While the Oppo makes a fine disc player, I keep finding myself drawn to a dedicated CD player and the differential and balanced ERC-3 is tempting...

Cheers,

T Cobe

Hi T Cobe,

I have all my CDs ripped lossless, story on my Synology NAS. In my office I stream from my iMac via iTunes through the Emo Stealth DC-1 DAC straight to my XPA-1Ls, which are now connected to my T2s (swapped them with my T7s, now doing surround duty in my living room). Really excellent rig. In my living room, I stream using Plex (server is on my Synology NAS and I have a client on my Roku). I also have a few music Blurays that I play through my Oppo BDP-93. Occassionally I'll actually pull out a CD for the Oppo. I've used iTunes streaming on my apple TV, but the appleTV 3 I have died (curiously, right after watching the Apple keynote talk from the developer's conference in June).

I haven't tried the ERC-3.

Brad

Hey T. Cobe, I was gonna recommend the best CD player for you, that I know of, the dCS Puccini. But when I looked for it, I guess it has been retired for even better players. But the Puccini was only $5000 when I heard it, not sure how much them new ones are. Come on, your Triton Ones deserve the best!!!!!

OK

I tried to tell you guys about Chris Stapleton, he took the 2015 CMAs by storm, won best new artist, best male artist and best album of the year with "Traveller".
You heard it first here my brothers.

I am not very country, but when I am, I know what country I come from!!!!
God Bless,
Wayne

Thanks, Wayne, but that's a bit rich for my tastes. I don't think that would pass the WAF either. I wish Oppo would announce their next gen players. An Oppo BDP-115 may be nice...

Cheers,

T Cobe

Pretty, oh so Pretty! John Coltrane/Blue Train -- I'm Old Fashioned.

But that's a bit rich for my tastes? T Cobe...I'm somewhat puzzled, I thought the T stood for TRUMP! :P
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!
