The Torri does not come with or have optional XLR jacks. They do carry an XBIT transformer ($629.00) that will carry XLR Balanced to the RCA jacks. I've run XLR for years through many different components, and to my ears I'm really not that impressed. I do on occasion use my Anthem Statement D2v XLR balanced inputs > Oppo 105 XLR...sound is OK, but doesn't wow me (using Audio Quest CHEETAH XLR - $1k) I haven't tried the Anti-Cable on the D2v... who knows, I might be WOW ed.

I love instrumental jazz...NO vocals.

Started out with a little Foo Fighters Greatest Hits but it proved a little too intense for mellowing out after work. Playing with the bass a little this afternoon trying to dial in my music settings. I keep shifting between 12:00 and 13:00 on the T1s gain knob. I believe the 12:00 presents a better balance. Using the Paradigm DSP-3400 as well though not needed, I am liking the additional bass...

Jack Johnson is one of my favorites. Many of his albums suffer from stray sounds such as amplifier hum but his music is great, IMO. This one is one of my Wife's favorites. Who am I to argue.
