OMG!! What could possibly be in this power cord? There are only a few metals that work as conductors of electricity.
Just wait a few years when quantum mechanics will become the norm for computing. Now we will be on to something to pass information to our speakers.
For $17000 I could hire a live orchestra,, but then where is the fun

I have five of them on various circuits serving the Tritons, receiver, amps and modem and router (since I stream music via the router).

They show when they're active, which is often, and yes they do help make a smoother, more consistent sound quality IMO.

Another question. Do high end HDMI cables make a difference? What kind do you use?

I haven't played much with the HDMI leads I have, from cable box to TV, and player to receiver and TV. They were installed by the HT guy who also ran the speaker cable leads through the attic to surrounds and ceiling speakers plus LFE leads to the surrounds.

He used "good" HDMI, cut to length. Don't know the brand. I've read conflicting opinions about whether going to upscale HDMI makes a difference. Don't know. On the fence on that one. But then I've also read conflicting reports on power cords and speaker cables and I've found brands of both that make a difference. If you try an upscale HDMI cable and like it, please share with us, maybe start a new thread. We learn from each other.

Re speaker cables, I have Signal Ultra's feeding the center and fronts on the shorter runs, doubled 14 gauge equal to 11 gauge in the long runs to the surrounds, Kimber Kwik 12 on the shortest run to the front heights, and 12 gauge if I remember correctly to the rear heights and zone 2 ceiling speakers.
