And I cook with coffee too. A cuppa dumped into my chili is wonderful.
Or, like today, I made a pot of sloppy joes and put a lot of coffee in there, delicious!!!!
Anybody else cook? With coffee?
God Bless,
Wayne

Catching up a little bit here. Regarding flavored coffee, I used to enjoy highlander grogg and a few others prior to being exposed to high quality coffee beans. The amount of flavor you can get naturally from good beans is fantastic. There is so much variation in flavor depending on the region, altitude, drying method, roasting, brewing technique, etc. there are so many great options out there and more become available everyday as the coffee business explodes. It parallels the beer industry. It's an exciting time for beer and coffee.

I haven't done a lot of cooking with coffee, but you have piqued my interest, Wayne. I have wanted to brew a beer with coffee in it, but I haven't had a lot of time for brewing this year and haven't established a recipe. I'll have to look up a few more recipes for coffee. I'd bet there would be some good recipes out there for a rub that includes coffee.

Cheers,

T Cobe

Make some chili (no beans) ha ha, with some coffee in it.
Or beer. Or both, what do I know?
Oh, here is an awesome one, make sloppy joes but replace some of the water with Jack Daniels. You will not believe how great that is!!!!
Happy listening, drinking and eating.
God Bless,
Wayne

-25 small degrees where I am this morning with no wind. I'm thankful for that at least. Unfortunately, I will not get a good cup of joe today to warm up my insides. My local roaster has a couple of new coffees available. Any coffee lovers out there on the forum should really give them a try.
