I have just gotten a lovely pair of Triton Ones. Now I will start to look for a receiver to match them.
I was looking to the Yamaha RX-A 1050 and the Marantz SR 6010 as possible choices. Has anyone had any chance to listen to how these receivers sound with Goldenear speakers?

Thank you in advance,

Fred

I would go Marantz over Yamaha in a heartbeat but give a look at Cambridge Audio and NAD as well.

Fred,

I would be remiss if I did not recommend Anthem as well. I'm not sure what your price range is or you ultimate goal for number of channels and set up. There are a lot of great options out there. I recommend a nice long trip to your local GET dealer for an audition of as many options as they have available. It's always best to decide what sounds best to your ears. Listening preferences are pretty specific in most cases. Let us know how it goes and what you select. Happy hunting.

Cheers,

T Cobe

I as going to suggest Anthem but the implied budget is quite a bit less than that.

I thought the same but he may still be able to get a 510 or 710 for a good price during the change over if Atmos is not needed and there is no plans for 4K. All the brands recommended would be great.
