Thank you all for the sound advise (no pun intended) . I will check with my local HI FI Store if they have the suggested brands to listen to those receivers in person.

I have been using the SR6010 with the SuperSats for Theatre setup. I thoroughly enjoy them and pleased.
I have played some music through them via Sirius and again happy.
I highly recommend you listen to different receivers with the media you will be listening to the most. If certain GE dealers do not have the brands of equipment you would like to hear thru the GE, take a drive to the closest dealer that does. Sound to your ears is what fine wine is to your tongue, it only worth it to your satisfaction.

I am driving my Triton 2 cinema including super centre XL and super sat 3 with yamaha Rx v1900 ( the one when yamaha used to make real powerful amps) . This receiver dont have any fancy options like 4k, Atmos or Airplay but O boy , it drives my tritons beautifully and with wide headroom. A very action packed performance. Its very easy to drive the tritons with any of the reasonable amp. You cant wrong with both of the options u mentioned.

But if u end up at yamaha , dont forget to use LFE IN for the bass. Yamaha is one of the brand who have the LFE rollover issue. They dont send LFE through speaker cables.

Hi all, I originally drove my T1's with a Yamaha RX-A1040. It sounded really good. The GET T1's are so incredibly efficient they sound good with just about anything!! I have since added external amps to drive them, An incredible improvement, I am using Emotive XPA-1s and they are really good clean amps, especially in class A mode. Huge difference in class A. I have also pulled out of the closet an older Adcom GFA-555 Mk II, which is a class A amp. It actually makes the Emotiva mono blocks sound inferior??!! When I 1st got the T1s I was using an Adcom GFA-555. It was a bit flat, so I decided to try some amps from this decade:)

So my recommendation is a good pre/pro and good clean power to drive the T1s. They will deliver with a lot less power, so try some class A amps. Actually the 200 watt Adcom 2 channel I am using is making these baby's sing!!

Enjoy your T1s they will continually surprise you with what they can do!!!!

Enjoy,
DT

If the requirement is only for 2 channel or just 5.1, I would suggest to check out the latest Anthem 520

Thanks

Bonjour
