Great work getting so quickly set up, and such a clean looking set-up!

Looking forward to getting your impressions on how the whole set of GEt speakers works together. You have installed an impressive system.

Congratulations!

Rick

It literally took 30 minutes to wire it up. I had my Klipsch speakers at all the same positions just before. Even the screw mounts for the Aons were already up. I do need to get some decor up. Maybe I'll mark the first reflection points and get posters put up around those spots.

Imahawki,

How are you liking the Aon2s as surrounds? At some point, you should try them as the main left and right in a 2-channel setup. The Aons sound fantastic for their size. Did you buy any new music or movies for this weekend? Have any movie marathon plans?

Cheers,

T Cobe

I think the Aons make GREAT surrounds. I'm a big advocate for surrounds with at least some bass extension. I've had bi-polar and direct radiating surrounds in the past too and in my experience in larger rooms, I don't think there's much difference. I think the timbrel match and overall frequency response (along with just the overall capability of the speakers to play clearly without distortion) are the most important things.

No new purchases per say but I've been stockpiling movies that I was refusing to watch until I got the new speakers. That included Avengers, which I'll likely finish tonight. Also on the docket is Mad Max: Fury Road, American Sniper, and Sin City 2.

I didn't expect it but Fury Road blew me away!!! The sound is powerful. American Sniper is pretty solid on sound as well. The other two were good movies but there was nothing exceptional about the sound. Enjoy!
