Hello, I have been enjoying my TritonCinema Two system (with SS50's replacing the SS3's) for a couple of weeks now. But one small question.

Soon after I power everything up and the audio signal is playing through the towers for a couple of seconds, there is an audible "pop" from what appears to be the tweeter area. It also seems that this doesn't happen when the volume is very low when I first power up, but when I adjust the volume to a medium level or more, I get the "pop".

Is this normal? If so, what is happening?

This was in the owners manual however Inhave never heard it, but my Green Light stays on all the time.

Please note: It is normal to hear a slight pop from the speaker when the amp powers up.

What receiver or preamp do you have? It could be ground loop.

Are the Triton Towers connected speaker wire only? If so, and the amp is turned off, there should be nothing preventing the tower's amplifiers from turning off after the amplifier/receiver has been off for 30-60 minutes.

it's a Yamaha Aventage RX-A3000. But it appears this is normal operation with the speakers' internal amps powering up, just like the manual says. I simply overlooked it.
