Hi dt, Since your already have a great sounding separate subwoofer, there wouldn't be as much of a need for towers with built-in powered subwoofers. You will, however, hear an even bass response and a great blend between your main speakers and your separate subwoofer when using towers with built-in powered subwoofers. With this in mind, using a set of Triton Two+ towers would be my first choice, and a set of Triton Fives would be my second choice. The dual bass/midrange drivers used in the both the Triton Two+ towers and the Triton Fives would produce more detail, clarity, and 3-dimensionality when compared to towers with a single midrange driver. Happy Listening!

ok .. so if i understand correctly, it means that the triton 3+ is not as in terms of clarity compared to the triton 5 due to having single mid range driver?

anyways .. i have the triton 5 now on hand for trial. so far it sounds really good. reason im looking at 3+ is because the pricing is not that much higher. therefore, im curious if its actually more worth it for me to change to that. unfortunately, my country doesnt have a single shop that have the triton 3+ or 2+ on display.

btw... will the triton 1r be too big for my room or the distance im sitting? my guy keep pushing me to get that if i do not want the triton 5

Hi dt, The main advantage of the Triton Three+ towers (over the Triton Fives) is their bass output. Since you already have a great sounding separate subwoofer in your system, I would prefer to have the improved detail and clarity produced by the Triton Fives (or Triton Two+s) over the Triton Three+s. Happy Listening!
