You should use either the rubber feet or the spike feet, depending on whether you have a carpeted or hard surface floor. It is important to allow some air flow under the base to decouple the speaker from the floor, to get the best overall bass response.

question on the spiked feet. Right now I just have the tritons sitting on the carpet with no feet. This allows me to easily move them (toeing and playing with distance). in the manuel it says that the spike feet can improve the sound. My question is how does spiking the carpet work to improve the sound?

Spiking the speaker decouples the speaker from the floor and always results in a sonic improvement, with any florstanding speaker and even with bookshelf speakers on speaker stands.

How do i recognize if the TRITON TWO TOWER that my dealer sold me are the upgrade ones and not the showroom used ones with no upgrade? since they knew i live in Mexico and there is no way to make comparisons over here or in the case of returning the items very hard to do for all that customs taxes and stuff

There is no such thing as a showroom unit without the updated input board - everyone was updated, most more than a year ago.

Dealers do not typically sell their showroom models as Triton Twos are readily available, and they certainly would not do so without indicating. That said, feel free to contact us with serial numbers and we can verify the vintage for you.
