Hi guys.

I have been a 2nd hand owner of the original Triton 2's for over 7 years now and have enjoyed and recommend the brand to many of my friends. Great sound for the money!

So far the only service required was to have one of the subwoofer amps replaced. A local shop did this with no issues.
Now however, I noticed that when playing at moderate to loud volume the top driver on both towers is rattling at certain frequencies.

I removed the cloth cover and don't see any damage but feel the drivers need to be replaced or serviced. Is this something my dealer can order and replace or troubleshoot? I will be taking them to Nashville TN tomorrow for service if possible.

Hi neokeelo, From your description there's a very good chance the top midranges in these Triton Twos are defective (and need to be replaced). Your local GoldenEar dealer should be able to diagnose your towers and order the appropriate replacement parts. Ultimately, it's not very hard to replace the midranges in the Triton Two towers.

HIFI Buys in Nashville said they don't do speaker repair anymore.
