I am an owner of the Triton Refs (fronts), Super Center Ref (center), and SuperSat 50s (surrounds). I am using a Parasound Halo A31 as an amplifier for my L, C, and R channels, and my Yamaha RX-a3040 as the processor/receiver for all of my channel, as well as being the amplifier for my surround channels.

I am curious what owners of the separate amplifier and processor/pre-amp (or receiver) use as an interconnect cable for the center channel from the processor/pre-amp (or receiver) to the amplifier?

I want to upgrade from my current cables, but from what I see, it appears that the better cables are sold as only as pairs. If I have to buy a pair, I'll do it, but I am curious what other owners of multi-channel amplifiers do.

Hi Corey,
I use Blue Jeans 10 White cables for my system. They are reasonably priced 10 Gauge cables with ultrasonically welded connectors. You can custom order the sizes needed at about $1.41 per foot. www.bluejeanscable.com

I may have misread your post Corey, but Blue Jeans cables sell interconnects also.

I may have misread your post Corey, but Blue Jeans cables sell interconnects also. I would go for Balanced cables versus RCA.

I am currently using Silver Serpent interconnect cables for all of my analog connections, including my L, C, and R from my receiver to amplifier. They work very well, but I want to upgrade for better sound.

By the way, I have been using Blue Jeans Cable 10 White ultrasonically welded speaker cable for all of my speakers, practically from the beginning.

Is there really a difference between balanced and unbalanced interconnect cables? From what I read, it really depends on the equipment. It is a moot point unless I buy unbalanced interconnect cables, as well as adapters to fit my RCA ports.

Morrow Audio makes some Great cables. They can be purchased singularly or in pairs. I have several pairs of their rca Interconnects and a pair of speaker cables.
