First of all I have to say that I love the Triton Ones. I love them so much that yesterday I ordered two more pairs to make a 7.2.4 system.

But the thing is that i have a problem with one of them that appeared suddenly. One of the woofers makes a very very strange noise even if the speaker cable is disconnected. It is like strong wind blowing. Could you please tell me what this could be?

Sometimes it gets a lot louder and it is mostly heard from the top racetrack woofer.

I had this on my first pair of triton ones on one of the speakers. The dealer came and replaced the speaker for me

Is there a router near the speaker? If yes, try turning off the router and see what happens?
If not a router, let's try a reboot of the speaker. To do this set a timer on your phone for 15 minutes (can be longer). Disconnect the power and start the timer. This will give the speaker enough time to fully drain and reset. Once the 15 minutes or more have passed, reconnect the power. The indicator light on the back will flash for 20-30 seconds as the firmware reloads and let's see if that does the trick.

This is exactly the sound I get once in a while from my right side TRef subwoofers (haven't noticed if it's the upper, lower, or both). After a lot of experimentation, I am 99% sure this is wifi interference noise. This only showed up after I upgraded my TV and wifi network to Google Wifi, and I have a wireless node located on the wall about 5 feet from that speaker. It is not practical to move it (it would end up being closer to the left speaker), and it only shows up once in a long while. It has not gotten worse. It is more pronounced (temporarily) after I restart the entire system after a total cold shutdown. Most of the time it's not there at all.

To troubleshoot, I tried several things independently: disconnecting the power line at the speaker (I could still hear it during the grace period before shutdown), powering off the amp, disconnecting the speaker cables, disconnecting power to the nearby Sony Bravia TV (running wireless), and even shutting down the wireless node. None of these helped (the last was a surprise). I now suspect it's my Auralic G2 streamer yelling at the wireless node, or perhaps another node in the house. Or a ghost.

I've read several discussions on this forum of what sounds like the same problem. It sounds as though there's a pathway into the speaker sub amp for wifi noise. If so, maybe GoldenEar could look at doing some testing with an eye to getting better shielding (or whatever) in future designs to eliminate the problem.

I think that there is a possibility that you are right.
At the moment I am far from home and I told to my wife to test the speaker by playing some radio at very low volume and check it.
Well, she told me that she could hear nothing. Of course she did unplug the speakers for about an hour and then reconnected them so i don't know if it had to do something with this or not.
The other weird thing is that at this time, my TV broke and it was sent to the shop under warranty.
But the WiFi from the TV was always on.
The other thing I remembered that has Wifi and an IR receiver is my media player. When I bought the speakers it was with WiFi off but now that you mentioned it, it could be the cause. Probably when I turned on its WiFi started all this.
I am not 100% that this is the cause but you might be onto something.

Just to keep this post updated, I put the speakers' power plugs at the same outlet with the AVR.
No more issues even if there are wifi devices nearby. No hiss, no noise, no nothing.
Something had to do with the power outlets of my apartment.
