As the title says, what does Golden Ear recommend on Cleaning the black liquor finish on the Triton Refs? I have been wiping very carefully with a slightly damp microfiber cloth. There is no mention of this in the owners manual. What is Golden Ears official stance?

You're doing the right thing with a microfiber cloth that is slightly dampened with water. Keep a clean spare on hand for wipedowns but make sure there aren't any contaminants in the cloths that might scratch the finish. Clean and soft terry towels will work well, too.

Thank you for looking into it. Some people were telling me to use car detailers wax, but I knew better.

They do it to very expensive ($200,000+) grand pianos and you would be surprised how much darker, deeper, and more beautiful the gloss black finish becomes. The difference, when done, is very noticeable. You have to have a very good, "pure" wax though.
