Just wondering if there is any advantage adding a FF sub (or two) to the T2's. The bass is pretty good already....but...

Thoughts?

Best answer is "maybe".

If the room is too small, more woofer energy will overload the room and aggravate any of the room's standing wave peaks and valleys. If the room is large enough to support all that bass energy, more subs typically equals smoother room response. That'a one of the reasons the two-subwoofer Triton Two stereo pair makes such great, extended and musical bass.

I have heard the Tritons in some pretty large spaces and they had overwhelming bass, and in some small rooms where that was not the case. If you have a room issue best to try and address that, if possible through speaker placement, furnishings, room acoustics treatments, etc. Some electronic room correction systems do a good job of smoothing out in-room bass response (although they will not help a significant room-reinforced dip).

If you want to fill a very large space with tons of bass at high volumes, sure, add one or two ForceField 4 subs (probably in the back and/or side of the room). Integrating those subs in a multi-channel environment is a little tricky and depends a lot on the flexibility of the receiver/processor bass management system.
