Hey Bro T Cobe,
YES, you are seriously missing out on some important information here!
IF you get the Triton Ones and IF you don't like them (which I HIGHLY doubt!!!!!)..... you can give them to me!!!!!!
The GEt Team know how to cross over the Triton Towers, they will NOT let the built in subs give the girls (or guys) a chesty sound.
There is something wrong with your setup. Sorry, I do not mean to be critical, just trying to help.
Sumpin' is wrong.
Where do you live, Bro Anthem will come and fix it for you!!!!
No, seriously tell us what you got and how it is hooked up and I bet we can trouble shoot it for you and fix it.
Now I know, that sounds like the pot callin' the kettle black, I have problems with my own system (I THINK mine is my room) but that is not enough bass in the right registers, not too much.
Trying to help,
God Bless,
Wayne

Hi

I'm joining this dialogue late. My two cents worth on bass integration on Triton 1's is that it's completely seamless, and the tonal range from bass on up always seems totally balanced and integrated.

I can't compare bass on 2 FF5's vs two Triton 1's, but the bass from the Triton 1's is awesome...deep. clean, rich, smooth, powerful, detailed and perfectly blended with the rest of the tonal range. I hear detail in the bass range (well, the whole range) I never heard before. I re listened to a demonstration disc the other day that had a bass resonance section featuring bass stringed instruments.. oh, my, the delicate detail. I could hear every pluck, every nuance of the vibrations and reverberations. I could feel the resonance, it seemed the instruments were right in front of me. Nothing is ever muddy or muffled.

Good luck on making your choices. I doubt you can go wrong whatever you choose between FF5/Triton 5's and Triton 1's

Thanks, Wayne. I'll go back to my post of "Another Movie Room" so we don't get too far off topic here. I'll certainly be glad to receive any recommendations. Just so I don't offend anyone here, I'm not saying anything negative about the T1s. They are amazing! They will no doubt be better than the T5s.

Thinking more about the post, I'd likely be better off replacing or even eliminating my sub and upgrading my receiver than downgrading speakers... Now Roman has me thinking about T1s up front and T2s for surrounds to replicate the GET Atmos trade show set up. This forum is going to cost me!

Cheers,

T Cobe

T1's front/T2's surrounds are indeed awesome. I went that route several months ago. The bass from the four Triton towers, all with LFE connected, is completely immersive, room filling.
