I'm really digging my t5's. But the crossovers bother me. I have them set to small crossover 80.

Doesn't that seem like a waste?

I've tried 40 and 60 crossover but then for some reason I have a fairly large dip at 80hz. 80hz is where I have everything else crossed over when I try 40 or 60 on the fives.

I have really good subs, so maybe I shouldn't worry about it. It just seems like a 40-60 crossover would be less wasteful.

I also have a big dip at 120hz, and have tried moving speakers a lot to no avail. Oh well, prob a house issue.

I think I've found something cool for Denon and Triton owners.

I have dual subs, so after much playing around, I think small, crossover at 80hz is best for TV, movies, etc.

But for music I like crossover at 40 and stereo only. It's a pain in the ass though to change settings everytime.

Well a rather obscure setting in Denon, under Speakers menu is 2 CHANNEL AUDIO. In this menu you can put speakers at small or large and whatever crossover you like. You can also raise or lower the trim to have subs where you want them (or off). After doing so, this will only affect the stereo and pure direct modes. No more switching back and forth!
