Hey everyone, first post but have been checking in for a while. Not a ton of activity around here more than likely based on the newness of goldenear. I started my audio journey hooked on Polk and have since bought the triton 1s an XL and 4 superset 3s. The 1s and XL are powered by a Krell 250a/3 and the 4 3s are on an adcom gfa-7500. Marantz av7005 pre/pro, hegel hd11 dac, and marantz ud7006 finish things off.

With a sweet setup like that I would NOT be Grimmacing at all, I would be smiling from ear to ear!!!!

Very nice. Your setup is similar to mine. I have a much longer room and went with SuperSat 50s for surrounds, and have my Triton 2s closer to the side walls than you do. I also noticed your sub but couldn't tell which model it was?

The sub is a JL fathom f112 - It's my baby and I don't think I'll ever sell it.

Upgraded the power cables on the tritons to pangea ac-9s which I've always enjoyed on other gear.

As for the comment on the supersat 50s, it was a tough call, but so far I'm happy with the 3s. The place I got my setup from has a trade up program as long as you double the value so if any time this year I'm not happy with the 3s, I can trade them for my full value for the 50s as they're exactly double the price.

The triton 1s themselves are incredible, I auditioned a TON along the way and really, nothing came close. They're a great value for their performance and with the center and surrounds to match being much cheaper than a lot of the other alternatives, it really let me step up the front 2 compared to others I had considered.

The short list of viable options that I chose these over were:
Kef R700/900
Dynaudio Focus 380
Totem Tribe V
Polk LSIM707
