Your JL fathom f112 is one of my favorite subs. I drool over those.

As for the SuperSat 3s vs 5s, as long as it's surround, there's probably not that much difference. How did you integrate your sub with the T1s? Did you use the AVR EQ, etc., or did you do it manually? My Triton 2s are full range using the 1'oclock position, while my two Velodyne subs are turned way down.
7.1 today, moving to 7.1.4 tomorrow
(2) Triton Two - front mains
(1) Sat 60C - center
(2) Sat 50s - sides
(2) Sat 50s - rear
(2) DIY 18" Stereo Integrity subs, 1100w each

Grimmace19,
Well chosen equipment sir!!!!!
I think the sub will integrate very well, and I used the Marantz you have for years. Just retired it for the Emo XMC-1. I have to say the Marantz set a high bar that to me, the Emo just barely beats until it comes to room correction, then the DIRAC is MUCH better than the Audyssey.
I think you have an amazing system, hope you enjoy it.
Have fun, God Bless, Wayne
God bless the child that's got his own.

Grimmace19 wrote: Hey everyone, first post but have been checking in for a while. I started my audio journey hooked on Polk and have since bought the triton 1s an XL and 4 superset 3s. The 1s and XL are powered by a Krell 250a/3 and the 4 3s are on an adcom gfa-7500. Marantz av7005 pre/pro, hegel hd11 dac, and marantz ud7006 finish things off.

Thanks for joining us, nice setup. We would suggest the system will absolutely sound better, and better for more listeners, if you move the speakers further apart and toe them in towards the center.

Thanks for the suggestion on the toe-in and width. I've been experimenting with the layout a bit so far but have only had them hooked up for about a week now.

As for integrating with the JL subwoofer, I ran the JL's own calibration and have just started to play with the settings on my marantz to dial things in. So far so good, the bass response seems to be pretty good in the new space but I'm sure I'll need some more room treatment and to adjust placement going forward.
