Last night after the daughter went to bed, it was DJango Unchained. The D is silent folks.
Talk about re-writing history!!!!!
Talk about gratuitous blood!!!!!!
It was quite entertaining!!!!!
I liked Q. Tarantino making a cameo appearance, he BLOWED UP REAL GOOD!!!!!
Christoph Waltz is an AWESOME actor!!!!!! I really enjoyed him in the horrible Inglorious Basterds, he worked the same magic here.

This is just Bloody Good Fun!!!! but Not for ALL the family!!!!!
Tarantino makes Pakinpah look like he ran out of ketchup

Blessings, Wayne
God bless the child that's got his own.

Bro Wayne:

DJango Unchained Sucked...JUST MY HUMBLE OPINION :S
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Bro Anthem,
Well, yeah, in an absolute, 100%, black and white, 0 - 10 sort of way, it sucked.
But, if you are tired of work and tired of living in a dump that is packed to overflowing with new house stuff, that is not in your new house, a new house that just never seems to get finished, mostly cause it won't stop raining for anything, and just need a laugh, then it was great.

Just sayin'

Speakin' of a messed up HOUSE,
Just finished watching "Olympus Has Fallen".
It has a pretty decent story for a shoot or be shot, protect the President movie.
I enjoyed it.
Blessings,
Wayne

Well Kids,
We watched Pacific Rim today, in 3D!!!! (the D is not silent).

This is not great movie making, but entertainment nonetheless.
And the 3D was not bad at all. Iron Man 3 in 3D was better.
I can't really speak to the sound, it was fine and involving.
I will speak up IF I see a blu-ray that is reference or demonstration quality sound.
But surround sound effects are all over the place now (pun intended) so it is all pretty good.

God Bless, Wayne

Okay, Kids,
Will keep you updated.
The place we are staying we have light fixtures stacked up in front of the subwoofer, towel racks in front of a surround speaker, bedding in front of another, you can't swing a cat in this place!!!!
I am NOT kidding. Bring a cat and try it.
So I am not gonna report on sound once again, but we watched two more 3D movies the past coupla days, just a short report.
"EPIC", Not Disney, nor PIXAR, etc. and NOT up to those standards. But OK after all. Steven Tyler does a voice and of course has to sing, well, the song did NOT fit, was not needed. The Beyonce credits song at the end was pretty good.
HOWEVER, the 3D pic was terrible, we finally got tired of it and went to 2D.
Then tonight "World War Z" in 3D. It was better picture, but not really good use of 3D, enough to warrant keeping the glasses on, but looked to be an afterthought.
For a Zombie movie, it was different and alright. The Zombies moved MUCH faster in this one than in old Z movies, which is what I was always afraid would be the case when they attack. These guys were sooooo alive, for somebody dead.
That is all,
Blessings,
Wayne
