Acoustic Alchemy/Arcanum (1996) -- Same Road Same Reason

Entering my 26th hour and 22 cd. Personally, my system sounds so Good, I don't want to touch anything. It's hard to imagine any better sound. The only thing I'll be keeping my eye on for next year is another amplifier. One of particular interest debuting this coming spring is Wyred 4 Sound NEXT-GEN Class D Statement Amplifier. Time will tell.
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Time for my morning coffee and a little music. I ordered a Miles Davis boxset yesterday that included 6 disks. The first album is Miles Ahead. The box set is Miles Davis and Gil Evans: The Complete Columbia Studio Recordings.

The latte was made with a double shot of El Aguila Pacamara Espresso. A bean that originated from El Salvador and has notes of rose, plum, dark chocolate, and pistachio. Mixed with some freshly frothed 2% milk and nothing else to muddy the waters.

Mix all of this with a beautiful sunrise and one almost doesn’t mind that it currently feels like 5 degrees outside...

Cheers,

T Cobe

Jeff Coffin Mu'tet / Side Up (2013) -- Scratch that Itch

Something brand new this morning I picked up about a week ago.
A most interesting piece.

Finishing up the morning listening session with Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers.
This is from his Moanin' cd -- Along Came Betty

It's been awhile since I listened to this one. A bit rough in spots -- but still Good!

Jae Sinnett / Zero to 60 (2016) -- Never Let Me Go

I know this gets old, but the T Refs are some of the smoothest top to bottom speakers that I've had the pleasure of listening to.

I've set in my lazy boy for 4 days, and could sit here for 4 more, but I need to get off my duff and get to the gym. Later...
