The Rippingtons / Welcome to the St. James Club (1990) -- Kenya

So shoot me. I'm really Diggin this cd. A song or two sounds like it's the soundtrack for an Eighties Porn Movie, but whatever, it works for me.
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Dave Weckl Band / Rhythm of the Soul (1998) -- Mud Sauce

No Eighties Porn tonight. Nineties Fusion instead.
Mud Sauce:
The feel of this song was inspired by the wonderful rhythms out of New Orleans, with "Mud Sauce" implying the thick, saucy feel of the groove.

Heads up that there are some great deals on classical music on amazon (and probably elsewhere).
Spotted this one and ordered it. Just started listening to the first disc (which seems very nice) and plenty more to go:
www.amazon.com/Martha-Argerich-Warner-Cl...ref=pd_bxgy_15_img_2
20 CDs of Martha Argarich (who I hadn't heard of before) for $37.
2 channel -> GeT Ones.R, Rogue RP-7 pre, Kinki Studio B7 Monoblock amps fed by Oppo 105D, SonicTransport, OpticalRendu w/ 200,000 tracks, Rega RP8 w/ Garrott OPTIM S3 FGS Ruby + Sutherland 20/20 phono pre, PS Audio Powerplant 20
HT -> Marantz 7703, Butler Audio T5150 amp, GeT Ref mains

Thanks for the heads up Pbgalvin,
Tell us what you think when you have some time to listen.
I got a blu ray of her and did not like it, but taste is pretty strange some times.
All the best,
God Bless,
Wayne

Listened to a couple of discs now in the Martha Argerich set, and they are very good. Currently Schumann's Violin Concerto in D minor playing (not that I know much about it) but nice music, nice sound quality. So a tentative thumbs up to get a lot of classical for a low price with good quality sound.
