Here is an acoustic duo for you, Rick. I have this on CD and Blu-Ray. Tim Reynolds is an AMAZING guitar player and this is a high quality, live recording. I'm listening through the AVM 60 via RCAs to an analog input in their "direct" mode. It sounds very good. I'm not sure I hear a huge difference between this and the HDMI transfer via the AVM 60s DAC. It maybe a tad more dynamic but that may simply be a matter of having room correction turned off. It is still a bit less transparent than my 2-channel setup, which seems to be more dynamic, open, airy, and lifelike on this album. It sounds more like a studio recording on the Anthem but it's still very good!

Cheers,

T Cobe

Thanks, T Cobe!

Is that from the "Live at Radio City Music Hall" Blu-ray? The reviews for SQ are VERY favorable. I'd like to order the Blu-ray if I've found the right one.

Thanks!!!

That's the one, Rick. If you like the acoustic guitar, you should love this one. While I also enjoy brass, there is a warmth and intimacy in the sound of stringed instruments, and specifically the acoustic guitar. You should be able to play a number of songs online first to see if you like the songs. SQ really is amazing!

Cheers,

T Cobe
