Was thinking I don't have lots of rock on my demo list so did a bit of googling and found this 100 best engineered recordings of all time by Al Kooper. Some I knew about but some I have to check out...

Spinning an extremely clean 180g version of (WHAT'S THE STORY) MORNING GLORY? By Oasis. Listening to side A with Hello, Roll With It, and Wonderwall. Vocals are captured well and coming through loud and clear on the T1s. This is not the best quality recording but it's clean. I would prefer a little less processing and more depth but the music is enjoyable nonetheless. The T1s and associated equipment aren't even getting to stretch their legs much less break a sweat. :laugh:

Starting the day out with Blue Rondo A La Turk by the Dave Brubeck Quartet. Playing via digital transport from my Oppo BDP-103 through my Anthem AVM 60. Every bit of detail is there and the symbols sound open and airy. It sounds great but probably a bit less transparent than my 2-channel system.



Accompanying my music is a new coffee by Johnson Brothers Coffee, Asopcafa Colombia. It is quite tasty and goes well with the music. What a way to start another cold February morning.
