Testing out the new Blue Jeans RCA cable on Monk's Dream. I was impressed with the build quality of this RCA. The connection is tighter than the budget RCA I was using from Monoprice (their premium RCA). The sound is a bit warmer and richer than the Monoprice as well. I suspect with lower voltage signals, the quality of the analog cable is more critical. For approximately $40.00, I'm very happy with the purchase. Blue Jeans Cables receive good reviews and are know for being a high quality, no non-sense brand. So far, I'd have to agree. This is my first experience with the brand but it will not be my last. I may order some balanced cables next.

Bolivar Blues sounds very good. The quality of the recoding is better than most classic Jazz recordings but probably not as good as Take Five from earlier today. Of course, now I'm accompanying the music with an IPA. Coffee this late would make for a bad night.

Cheers,

T Cobe
