Y'all know how much I hate the Saxophone. Well, today I forced myself to listen to Joshua Redman, and I gotta tell you the man is an amazing saxophonist. Who knows, with a little time and patience, I might become an "Sax Maniac".

Anthem,

No Redman yet, I haven't been buying CDs lately. I've mostly been purchasing LPs. I did look for records at the music store, but they only had classical jazz. He is at the top of my queue in Amazon. I have Mood Swing and Beyond ready to go.

Hushed early morning musings with a cup of joe and music turned way down low. This morning it's an Ichamama Kenya that is described as having lush berry, red currant, and champagne like flavors. This is my first cup and I'm looking forward to how the flavor profile changes as it cools. The pour over brew time was right on target at 3:30. Tasty!

Starting with Jack Johnson's On and On this morning. It's early and I don't want to disturb any circadian rhythms with those coming from my T1s. Even at low volumes, the bass is full and treble is open and airy. All the detail is present and Johnson's vocals are warm and relaxing.
