Hey Anthem, I have this CD I bought it back in the mid 80s!!! Its the 1st non hard rock CD I ever bought!! Loved it, it turned me into an audiophile. I guess you could say it brought me out of the closet:)

Thelonious Monk Quartet with John Coltrane at Carnegie Hall (1957) --Blue Monk.

A pretty good recording, may not be perfect, but a pretty good recording. I prefer the "Late Show" over the "Early Show". Coltrane really busts his Chops at the end. My 2nd favorite is "Sweet and Lovely" followed by "Bye-Ya".

Almost forgot -- Splash, I'm glad you finally came out of the closet.

Well its official, I now own my SCXXL and not the bank. She is playing solo today and giving me an absolutely brilliant performance. Gerald 's alto sax is coming through with wonderful clarity, and as I've said before, I could listen to the SCXXL (solo) all day long.

Really glad to hear about the SCXXL! Do you notice any of the harshness while playing music that you notice during home theater use at reference volumes? Have you noticed any change or break in as you've used the center. How would you describe the sound versus the T2s?sorry for all the questions but if I decide to upgrade its going to be based on evryone's feedback as my local dealer has opted to go with another brand for their theater setup, sadly.
