Well, I decided to brave the cold and make a quick trip to the music store. I picked up 5 new albums. I'm listening to Nora Jones, Come Away With Me. Great album so far. Nora has a very sultry voice. I can see now why so many members here have discussed this album. I really dislike previewing albums on Amazon. I'm not sure how they pick which portion of each song you get to listen to, but they seldom do the songs justice. I'm glad I didn't continue to ignore this album based on the clips I was able to preview.

I'm streaming Norah Jones now. REALLY relaxing. I can imagine that the analog version sounds sultry...her voice is just so SMOOTH....Thanks for the info.

Sorry to learn that a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer passed away today, Glenn Frey of the Eagles. RIP.

Glad you're enjoying it. I haven't heard the CD, but the LP does sound amazing. I also picked up and listened to No Doubt: Magic Kingdom and red Hot Chili Peppers: Blood Sugar Sex Magik. Unfortunately the streak has ended both of these LPs were sub par. The music is still great but I have to imagine the CD versions sound better.

It seems a lot of famous entertainers have been passing lately. I've yet to dip into The Eagles, but they are on my list. Obviously, I've heard some of their more popular songs but I couldn't pick them out or name their songs. Do you have any favorites?
