I really like the feel of their Everyone on Everything (2009) album. I especially like Illuminate.

Kenny Garrett / Saxophone
Kiyoshi Kitagawa /Bass
Brian Blade /Drums

Garrett's sax is located in the left channel and Bass & Drums are heard in the right channel, on all tracks.
Sonically, this is an amazing recording.

(NSS) New Stuff Saturday -- Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band/The Phat Pack (2006) -- Play That Funky Music (featuring David Sanborn.


Goodwin and his band never cease too amaze me. Anything and everything he puts out is a knockout, the Phat Pack is no exception. Sanborn's sax on Play That Funky Music, gives this song a shot of nitro and a feel of sheer uncontrollable excitement. An enthusiastic Thumbs Up!
