Playing with the new amp today. Swapping RCAs and speaker wires to find the proper balance. I think I have a temporary solution in place. This track is amazing for critical listening!

More critical listening this evening in an effort to fine tune things. Some new RCAs arrived today. I'm not 100% sure I've settled in on a brand and model. I think I may try a pair of Blue Jeans RCAs next. Sounding good but if $5 Monoprice cables can do this...

The test disc tonight is Diana Krall: Live In Paris. A pretty standard demo disk but it is such for a reason. Clear and sultry vocals combined with a cornucopia of jazz musicians and mastered to perfection. I'm going to need to purchase this Blu-Ray. The only downside is that I have to keep it under 70 dB since the Wife hit the rack early this evening. Even at low levels, the Triton Ones have an engaging and meaningful presentation. Life is good! Happy listening!
